Workshop registration

Online registration is available via credit card. If you wish to register students with a company purchase order, pay by check, have discount coupons, or have more than 2 students attending a class, see other options for registration.

When should I register?
To guarantee your place in class and to make it easier to book hotel accommodations, please register at least 4-6 weeks in advance.

No seats left in the class you want?
If when you order you get an inventory error message indicating there are not enough seats available, please call. We typically reserve additional seats not available by web registration. You will also get this message if you are trying to register within 10 days of the class start date. Call us for late registration.

Minimum enrollment
All classes are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment isn't met. Please call before making hotel or flight reservations.

Supplemental texts or software
Purchase the recommended text or software at the time of registration to receive a 20% discount. The 20% discount is valid for up to 6 months after you take the class, but you will need to call or fax us for a discount on an item not ordered with the workshop purchase.

Refund Policy
Software and books may be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase with a valid receipt of payment. Workshop cancellations are accepted up to 30 days prior to the workshop for a full refund. Cancellations less than 30 days in advance are subject to a $200 cancellation fee. Students who fail to attend and who do not cancel prior to the first day of class will be responsible for 50% of the workshop fees.

Experiment Design Made Easy (EDME—2 days)

In this hands-on, computer-intensive workshop participants learn to set up, analyze, and interpret two-level factorial, general factorial and fractional factorial designs. Learn how to identify the vital few effects and discover unknown interactions through the use of powerful design of experiment (DOE) techniques.

Response Surface Methods for Process Optimization (RSM—2 days)

In this computer-intensive workshop, participants learn how to find optimal operating conditions with response surface methods (RSM). Find the "sweet spot" where you meet all your specifications at minimal cost. You will learn how to set up central composite, Box-Behnken and other RSM designs, generate 3D and contour maps and optimize multiple responses.

Mixture Design for Optimal Formulations (MIX—2 days)

Number of students: 1–2 3+

In this computer-intensive workshop, participants learn how to use mixture designs to develop statistical models of product performance and then response surface methods to identify the "sweet spot" where all specifications can be met. Students will: set up simplex designs, select appropriate mixture models, generate contour plots in triangular space, design for constrained mixture variables, optimize product formulas, screen mixture components and study mixture and process variables.

PreDOE Web-Based Training (3–6 hours)

PreDOE is an entry-level course for technicians, managers and professionals who need to go back to the basics. It teaches the fundamental statistics used in design of experiments through the use of reading materials, interactive exercises and quizzes.
